Christian and Harry. New Beginnings

(This log occurs after Christian's talk with Cillian and 'encounter' with Will, and before Harry and Dominic talk about Elijah and Jake ...)

As soon as dinner was over each evening, Christian retreated to the gatehouse, to do a little work and a lot more thinking. Tonight, he had quietly asked Harry to join him over there and he was waiting in the living room, the fire blazing in the hearth and sitting on the floor with his back against the couch, sipping at a glass of red wine, staring at the flames when Harry arrived.

( Harry hadn't been avoiding Christian... not exactly, but he hadn't been going out of his way to talk to him either. )
